I’ve already mentioned on the “One Way” and “Take Flight” pages that my wife and I went on a trip to NYC in June. It was a work trip for me, but what made it extra special is that, not only did my wife get to go with me, but it was also during our two year anniversary!

We were attending an expo for photo/video production, and God blessed us to be some of a select few who won a dinner cruise, paid for by the expo. We won it on the actual day of our anniversary, and it took place that evening! It took us along the Hudson River so we could see the skyline, and part of it was going right up to the statue of liberty. Being a history buff, and also a very patriotic American, I thought this was an amazing experience. In a place that feels so disconnected from Him, I truly felt extremely blessed by God in that moment, and I’m so glad to have had that experience.
