As you’ll find on the “About” page, my wife and I live in Bellevue, MI. Not far from us is one of the Mooville dairy farm locations. They are a wonderful, Christian family owned business, that we found while trying to find things to do in the area. Besides taking a tour of the area where the cows stay and eating their ice-cream (which they won a Guinness World Record with), Mooville has a petting zoo with goats, sheep, and llamas (I think?). I can’t tell llamas and alpacas apart haha.

I think the connection between us and the Earth is a beautiful relationship that God created for us, and a part of that relationship is caring for the animals that He provided for us. It’s a tender reminder to us that, just as we care for the animals of this Earth, so too does God take care of us. Providing for us everything that we need. It’s a perfect trip to make because then my wife gets to feed and pet all the cute farm animals, and I get another opportunity to thank God for everything He’s provided for us.
